YourDictionary.com has posted a comprehensive list of commonly misspelled words and some tips on remembering how to spell them properly. The list includes quite a few that have caused me to pause or pull up a spell checker (e.g. separately, accommodate, and occurrence). Fortunately, with the handy methods for remembering how to spell each, I’ll be able plow through my writings with aplomb. Even if you are a bibliophile and consider yourself an astute speller, it’s worth checking out the list.
